Announce winners in Huntington Co. 4-H Tractor Operators’ Contest

Here are the results of the Huntington County 4-H Tractor Operators’ Contest held Sunday, July 9, at the Parkview Huntington Hospital Show Arena:

Zero-Turn Radius Lawn and Garden, Junior                                                                                                                                         Lander Zezula, champion; Nathaniel Alwine, reserve champion; Carter Zezula, third; Ross Cuttriss, fourth; and Isabelle Harlan, fifth.

Annual 4-H pet parade is set for July 25 at Parkview show arena

The annual 4-H pet parade will be held Tuesday, July 25, at 7 p.m. in the Parkview Huntington Hospital Show Arena at the Huntington County Fairgrounds, as part of the Huntington County 4-H Fair.

Children ages 9 and younger may participate provided they are not enrolled in the regular 4-H program. Mini 4-H members, however, are eligible to enter the event.

Participants may choose to enter their pets as individuals or as groups of two or more, and are encouraged to wear a costume and dress up their pet.

Each child will receive a prize.
