Huntington Catholic School Birthday Book award

Huntington Catholic School has a unique way of receiving new books for its library. During the month of a student's birthday, parents may send in a donation for the purchase of a book. A label is placed in the front of the book with the student's name on it. That student reads the book first and then it is placed in the library for other students to check out. Students receiving books at the October All School Liturgy on Friday, Oct. 7, are (front row from left) Lindsay Godfroy, first grade; Garrett Rosen, first grade; Jessica Hartmus, third grade; Joseph Melchi, third grade and (second row from left) Alexi Holzinger, fifth grade; Trevor McGuin, eighth grade and Amara Eckert, fifth grade.
