Shoshannah McKinney's Chinese language class from Huntington North High School celebrated the Chinese New Year with Nancy Peace's first grade class at Northwest Elementary School. HNHS students (from left) Laresa Lund, Alysse Bustos, Dan Jacobs and Andrew Sizemore lead the first-graders in practicing the tones found in the Chinese language. The younger students learned many different words through activities, games and stories. The Chinese New Year was celebrated on Jan. 23.
