Planning has begun for the post-prom party for Huntington North High School seniors.

All seniors are invited to attend post-prom for free, even if they don't attend the prom.

The party is fully chaperoned and will provide entertainment with food, games, music, dancing and door prizes.

This year, the theme is "In it to win it!"
The event will be held on May 13, from 1 to 4 a.m. in the HNHS field house following prom.

The post-prom is presented and staffed by the senior parents. Funding is provided by senior parent donations and by community donations.

The cost of post-prom is approximately $11,000. Donations are being accepted.

Monetary donations for the upcoming HNHS post-prom event may be made out to "2012 Post Prom" and mailed to Bippus State Bank, PO Box 1148, Huntington, IN 4650.

The committee would like to receive donations by March 16.
