The Huntington County 4-H Shooting Sports Program begins Sunday, Feb. 5 with the first classroom meeting for the 4-H Pistol discipline from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the Family Living Building at Hier's Park.
4-H members interested in taking the pistol classes and their parents must complete the necessary enrollment forms and pay the registration fee and the state 4-H Program fee no later than the Feb. 5 classroom meeting. Payments may be made at the County Extension office prior to the Sunday class or with the 4-H Shooting Sports leader at the beginning of the first class.
Other 4-H Shooting Sports discipline classroom meetings include:
• Rifle - Feb. 14, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Family Living building, Hiers Park.
• Shotgun - March 7, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Family Living building, Hiers Park.
• Archery - March 21, 6-8 p.m., in the 4-H Community Building, Hier's Park.
• Muzzleloader - Mid-April.
