Doctor will discuss new therapies to prevent stroke

Parkview Huntington Hospital will present a free program titled "New Therapies to Prevent Stroke in 2012" on Wednesday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m., in the lower-level classrooms of the hospital.

The program will be presented by William Wilson, MD, of Parkview Physicians Group - Cardiology.

Wilson will discuss the dangers and risks of stroke associated with the very common heart-rhythm disturbance called atrial fibrillation.

He will also identify new alternative drugs available for the prevention of stroke.
