Jaycees to sponsor Easter egg hunt on March 31

The Huntington Jay-cees' Easter egg hunt will take place from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 31, at Memorial Park.

The Easter Bunny will be at the event until noon.

The hunt will begin as children 3 and younger have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Children will receive a plush toy and eggs.

Plush toys will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

The remaining age groups will follow, with 4 to 6-year-olds, 7 to 9-year-olds, and 10 to 12-year-olds.

No parent is allowed on any egg-hunting course. Children may enter the hunting ground only when they are given the official go-ahead. No touching, hitting or tripping of other participants will be tolerated.

If these rules are broken the child will be asked to leave and all prizes and eggs will be forfeit.

All prizes must be picked up by noon, or they will be forfeited.

Eggs should be returned to Huntington Jaycees. There will be barrels placed throughout the grounds for egg return.

This event is free and open to the public.
