Next session of Master Gardener public education series is June 7
Monday, June 4, 2012 8:05 AM
The next installment of the 2012 public education series sponsored by Huntington County Master Gardeners will be held on Thursday, June 7, at 7 p.m. at Hier's Park.
Master Gardeners Sharon Laupp, Susan Miller, Bobbi Ehler and Susan Derringer will demonstrate various ways to make fairy gardens.
Fairy gardens are miniature gardens, which can be created for indoors or outdoors. Most fairy gardens are made with small plants and usually contain miniature houses, furniture or accessories.
Demonstrations will include decorated fairy furniture, primarily made out of a tree, and gardens created in a wheelbarrow.
Interested persons should call the Extension office at 358-4826 to register.
