The Huntington Rotary Club recently hosted a group study exchange team from Bulgaria, District 2482.

This is an international exchange program for young adult professionals to exchange information, both personally and professionally, about themselves and the country they represent. This cultural exchange has a focus on vocation and promotes goodwill and understanding among nations.

The Bulgarian team arrived in the United States on May 19 and returned home on June 17.

During their stay, they experienced family life by staying with members of Rotary Clubs in Fort Wayne, Valparasio, Elkhart and Wabash.

The Bulgarian GSE Team made a formal presentation at the Huntington club's June 12 meeting and exchanged banners.

The team met with Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters and toured sites and attractions in Huntington throughout the day. Their evening concluded with dinner at The Rusty Dog Irish Pub.
