American Legion Post 7 and American Legion Post 85 will sponsor the second annual Specialist Chad Clements Memorial Ride on Aug. 11.

Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. at Hier's Park, 547 S. Briant St., Huntington.

Kickstands up at 11 a.m.

Cars and trucks are welcome, this is an escorted ride.

There is a fee per bike and per passenger, which includes a meal.

Events throughout the day include a bake sale and drawings.

Immediately following the bike run there will be an auction.

The ride is held in memory of Clements, a soldier from Huntington who died Aug. 30, 2010, while serving his country in Afghanistan.
