The third annual Harmony Feast, a food-focused event celebrating the contributions of the many cultures represented in Huntington County, will be held on Friday, Sept.14, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

The event will be held in a large tent at PNC Bank, across from Kriegbaum Field, and is the same night as Huntington North High School's homecoming festivities. The homecoming parade will pass by the Harmony Feast tent.

The Harmony Feast mini food court will offer dishes from American, Mexican, Italian, German, Chinese, Native American and other cuisines. Food tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the tent, and each food item will require one to three tickets. The Boy Scouts and Bailey's Coffee will take tickets for beverages.

Boogie Down Dee-Jays will provide musical selections during the evening.

The Harmony Feast marks the observance of Harmony Day in Huntington County. Harmony Day is an outreach of the Harmony Initiative, an organization dedicated to recognizing the contributions from people of all backgrounds.
