Lincoln’s leadership team drafts new vision, mission statements for year

The principal at Lincoln Elementary School is Adam Drummond.

Doors open for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. The first bell is at 7:40 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8 a.m. Dismissal is at 2:15 p.m. with early releases at 1:30 p.m.

New additions to this year's staff are Jill Slagel and Patty Myers, who will both be teaching second grade, and Stepfanie VeBryck, a transfer from Salamonie, who will be teaching third grade.

The school will continue its "One School, One Book" program. This year's theme is "Reading Olympics."

Over the summer the leadership team drafted new vision and mission statements. The new vision statement is "A Community of Excellence."
