Discovery Crew to launch in Huntington, Markle

Huntington City-Township Public Library offers Discovery Crew programs this fall at both the main library in Huntington and the Markle branch library in Markle.

Discovery Crew members meet each week for stories and crafts, and sessions last 45-60 minutes.  The theme for this fall's Discovery Crew program is "Fractured Fairy Tales," with related games, silly songs and activities.

At the main library, 255 W. Park Drive, Huntington,  Discovery Crew will be offered for students in first through third grades at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons, beginning Sept. 19 and continuing through Nov. 7.

At the Markle branch library, 197 E. Morse St., Markle, Discovery Crew sessions will be offered for first through fourth grades at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, and sessions will begin on Sept. 18 and continue through Nov. 6.

There is no cost to attend these programs, but registration is required and space is limited.
