Miller will discuss alternative cancer treatments

Charles Miller, a cancer survivor from Mason, MI, will speak Sept. 17 at a meeting of the local Cancer Support Group.

Miller worked in the computer field for 36 years.

After surviving two melanoma skin cancer operations and removal of a kidney cancer, Miller began working with the Detroit-area HOPE cancer support group in 2002 in their efforts to inform people of how a better diet, along with alternative cancer treatment supplements, significantly improves a patient's success in defeating cancer.

Miller retired in 2002 to start Cancer Support Groups to inform people about inexpensive alternative cancer treatment wellness programs.

The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Market and Guilford streets in Huntington. Those attending should use either the Guilford Street door or the covered entrance near the alley, which provides elevator access to the lower level of the building.
