Huntington North High School will celebrate homecoming on Friday, Sept. 14, at its football game against Anderson.

The game starts at 7 p.m.

Preliminary events will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, at Kriegbaum Field. Kick-off for powder puff football games is at 6 p.m., and homecoming games will be held between the powder puff games. The public is invited, and admission is charged.

A homecoming parade on Friday will step off at 5 p.m., following a route from the Viking Lane entrance to HNHS to the Huntington City-Township Public Library. The parade theme is "Vikings Sail to Victory."

Anyone dropping students off to participate in the parade should do so at the median in front of the school. Viking Lane and the MacGahan Street entrance closest to Huntington Plaza will be closed.

Parade winners will be announced at halftime of the football game, when the homecoming king and queen will also be crowned.
