Trinity UMC collecting nuts for fund-raiser

For the eighth year, Trinity United Methodist Church is accepting walnuts to benefit the Huntington County Free Health Clinic at the church.

Members of the community are invited to pick up fallen walnuts and drop them off at the church.

The first week's drop-off will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 29, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the east parking lot of Trinity United Methodist Church.
The church is located at 530 Guilford St., Huntington.

Walnuts will be accepted each Wednesday and Saturday through October.

A tool to aid in picking up the nuts is available for purchase at the church. Bags to hold the nuts are also available at the church, which is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
