Best decorated (non-theme), kids (ages 5-10) - Jessica Hartmus, first place; Laura Hatmus, second place; and Adalyn Harvey, third place.
Most delicious, kids (ages 5-10) - Kendal Kline, first place; and Jessica Hartmus, second place.
Best decorated (non-theme), junior (ages 11-18) - Katlin Carroll, first place; Emily Bucher, second place; and Hannah Nelson, third place.

Steve Ness and Kurt Ness of Real Living Ness Brothers Real Estate and Auction Company conducted the auction.
The highest price paid for a cake was $400 for a cake purchased by Nick's Junction.The average selling price was $110.
Purchasers of cakes included Village Coiffures, Economy Machine Products, American Legion Post 86, Roanoke Volunteer Fire Department, Ness Brothers, Nick's Junction, Bob and Marilyn Dennis, MarkleBank, J&K Maple Syrup, Roanoke Kiwanis, the Roanoke Police Department, Marc and Linda Dennis, Hartley Garage, NorthStar Accounting, Rick and Linda Hartley, Julie Hartmus, Lock No. 4, Joan Dennis, Carroll's Flooring, Sparky Mart, Mayne Road Angus and Dennis Grain.
The cake auction is one of the biggest fund-raisers of the festival.
