The Huntington County Sheriff's Department, Huntington Police Department and Warren Police Department participated in a nationwide crackdown on impaired driving Aug. 17 through Sept. 3.

Nearly 10,000 law enforcement agencies across the country participated in the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

In Huntington County, officers made more than 16 arrests for impaired driving, made eight other significant arrests and issued 129 citations during the enforcement period.
