HCCH Class of 1967 recaps reunion events

Members of the Class of 1967 of Huntington County Community High School (HCCH) celebrated its 45-year reunion on the weekend of Sept. 14-16.

Festivities kicked off at Nick's Kitchen on Sept. 14 with 40 class members and guests in attendance. The group then enjoyed music and social time on the former location of the YMCA.

On Sept. 15, eighty-three classmates and guests met at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Fort Wayne.

The class viewed a tribute video commemorating it as the first class to graduate from the Huntington County consolidated schools as well as paying tribute to the 10 schools that were consolidated.

On display were memorabilia and a list of class members who had passed away. Door prizes were also awarded.
On Sept. 16 the group enjoyed a breakfast buffet at the Hilton.

The festivities will continue on March 11, 2013, with a western Caribbean Cruise, leaving from Tampa, FL, and going to Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico.

The group will travel via Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas.
