Artists of all ages invited to submit Hoosier history themed works for local Historical Society show

The Huntington County Historical Society will sponsor a Hoosier Historical Fine Art Show and Contest at the Huntington Historical Museum.
Anyone age 5 and older may enter the contest, and the subject matter is any historical person, place or event in Indiana.
Paintings, sketches, collages, photographs, sculptures and woodworking art projects will all be accepted.
Submission forms will be available at the museum, and projects will be accepted Oct. 17 through Oct. 20 and Oct. 24 through Oct. 27.
Judging will be 50 percent people's choice and 50 percent judges with art and history backgrounds.
Prizes will be awarded for each of the age divisions and Best of Show.
Awards will be presented at the Historical Society general meeting to be held on Nov. 14 at the museum.
The museum is located at 315 Court St., Huntington.
