Salamonie offers owl program

Preschool-age children and their parents and guardians are invited to learn about owls at Salamonie Preschool on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Salamonie Interpretive Center.

The class will be offered from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and again from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Each Salamonie Preschool program has a nature theme and is designed to enhance the preschooler's basic education. Activities include learning the alphabet, crafts, social interaction and time outdoors.

There is a program fee per child.

Registration in advance is appreciated. To register, call Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 468-2127.

The interpretive center is in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area.
