HU represented at Day of Healing

Staff members, graduates and students of Huntington University's counseling program will participate in the Day of Healing on Nov. 3 in Wabash.
Dr. Jerry Davis, director of the HU graduate school's counseling program, will present a lecture on "Working with Your Client's Deep Emotions."
Joel Makin and Zachariah Crooks, both 2011 HU graduates, will participate in a presentation titled "Beyond Intimacy: Understanding and Meeting the Relational Needs of Loved Ones." Makin is a mental health counselor at Cornerstone Vision Counseling and Psychological Services, Fort Wayne, and Crooks is a mental health counselor at Damar Services, Indianapolis.
Lisa Wanner, a 2010 graduate, will present a workshop titled "Rescue Your Love Life." Wanner is a mental health counselor and consultant at Wieland and Associates Counseling and Consulting, Fort Wayne.
Drew Clay and Patrick Rohr, both third-year graduate counseling students at HU, will present "Being Close, Being Separate: Dynamic Movement toward Healthy Relationships."
The Day of healing is hosted by the Wabash Friends Counseling Center and is designed to offer resources to people who are facing difficult situations. Registration information is available online at wabash friendscounseling.com or by calling 887-350-1658.
