Love INC of Huntington County will begin accepting registrations for Christmas assistance on Oct. 29.

Registrations from those in need will be accepted until Nov. 30.

Those willing to become a donor, adopt a family or volunteer with distribution are asked to contact Love INC at 356-0933.

Love INC will work as a clearinghouse to assist families in need for the 2012 Christmas season. Last year, Love INC's Christmas Adopt-a-Family program provided assistance to more than 600 children and about 370 local families.

Love INC works alongside local churches to connect community members in need with resources to help meet those needs.

In addition to serving as a community clearinghouse, Love INC offers a community food pantry, diaper depot, supply closet, bicycle ministry and the Covered With Love resale store.

Donations are accepted in the form of cash, food, diapers, clothing, household supplies, baby food, kitchenware and bicycles.
