Youth for Christ will hold its annual Community Snapshot event on Thursday evening, Nov. 8, at the First Church of the Nazarene, in Huntington.

The theme of the evening is "A Night of Hope and Healing." Dan Wolgemuth, president of Youth for Christ/USA, will be the guest speaker.

Wolgemuth is the author of "Fragments: God's Pattern in Life's Pieces," which examines the aftermath of the theater shootings in Aurora, CO, last July. Wolgemuth has ministered to victims of the shootings.

Wolgemuth has served as president and chief executive officer of Youth for Christ/USA since 2005.

He has also served on the organization's national board of trustees since 1995.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Child care for children through fifth grade will be provided at the church.
