The Roanoke Kiwanis Club recently inducted its new president, Tinisha Weigelt, who relocated to Roanoke with her family from the Washington, DC, area. Paul Roth (left), Roanoke Kiwanis secretary, welcomes Weigelt to the organization. Weigelt says she hopes to help Roanoke youth and grow membership of the group. She succeeds Lance Wygant, who completed his term as president on Oct. 1. The club meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7 a.m. at the Roanoke Brethren Church. Anyone interested in joining is invited to attend.
