Employees of the town of Warren will receive a pay raise of $1,206.40 for 2013, members of the Warren Town Council decided during a special meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

The amount was arrived at by figuring 3 percent of the median wage of town employees. A salary and wage ordinance will be introduced during the council's Nov. 19 meeting.

Utilities Superintendent Curt Day received the go-ahead to spend $9,000 to replace the town's radio communication system. Day plans to purchase two repeaters, five hand-held units and two base stations.

Council members approved the extension of an agreement with Heritage Pointe to provide town water service to the facility during an emergency.
