The Huntington 7 theater will offer a free screening of the documentary "Bitter Pill" on Monday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m.

The film was produced by Dr. Vivek Palavali, a neurosurgeon practicing in Flint, MI, and examines the health care system in the United States. Palavali believes the system is failing Americans.

"I find it unconscionable that the U.S spends $3 trillion annually on health care, yet millions of Americans are uninsured and sick," Palavali says. "The people in Europe, for example, spend far less, yet their citizens are healthier and live longer."

Goodrich Quality Theaters is showing the movie at all 30 of its theaters in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Missouri.
