Local RTL preparing for its annual Care & Share program for needy

Huntington County Right to Life is preparing for its annual Christmas Care & Share program to benefit needy families within the county.
Specific items needed for parents include new rolls of scotch tape, new packages of gift tags, bows, wrapping paper and cash donations to be applied towards the purchase of grocery gift certificates.
Needed items for children this year include baby and toddler toys, games, dolls, books, large and medium stuffed animals, cars and trucks, color books and crayons. Clothes sizes needed include 12 month to size 7 as well as other appropriate items for children, ages pre-born through six years.
Items can be dropped off now through the first week of December at the Right to Life office, located at 34 E. Washington St., Huntington. The office is open from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day except on Wednesdays.
