Art exhibit, creche collection at Crestwoods
Monday, November 12, 2012 7:37 AM
Crestwoods Village Shop, in Roanoke, will feature an art exhibit and a collection of creches on Nov. 24.
The exhibits are part of "Shop Small in a Big Way," an all-day event showcasing shops throughout downtown Roanoke.
Crestwoods' 2012 Grand Finale Art Show will feature all artists who have exhibited during the year, including Joel Fremion, Richard Tuck, Carey Shafer, Gwen Gutwein, Elizabeth Walmsley and the Cartwright family.
More than 30 creches, part of a private collection, will also be on display. The handmade creches have been collected from around the world and many are more than 50 years old. The creches will remain on display through the end of the year.
