Fort Wayne Philharmonic to perform on Nov. 25 at HNHS

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic will bring its Holiday Pops concert to Huntington on Sunday, Nov. 25.

The concert, presented by the Huntington North High School Student Council, begins at 2:30 p.m. in the HNHS auditorium. Doors open to the public for general admission seating at 1:45 p.m.

The 64-piece orchestra will perform under the baton of Philharmonic Assistant Conductor Sameer Patel. The philharmonic will perform selections from "The Nutcracker," "Carol of the Bells" and "Sleigh Ride," with vocalists Fernando Tarango and Shannon Cajka singing other holiday favorites. The orchestra will also lead the audience in a Christmas sing-along.

Tickets may be purchased from any HNHS Student Council member, by calling 356-6104 extension 1191 or by emailing jperkins@hccsc.k12.in.us. Tickets will also be available at the door prior to the concert.

A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the HNHS Student Council.
