Entries are being sought for a chili cook-off to be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, as part of the Christmas in "Our Town" celebration in Markle.

The cook-off will be held at the Markle Church of Christ beginning at 1 p.m. Winners will be announced at 2 p.m.

There is a cost to enter, Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three places.

The contest is sponsored by Markle Exit 286 Antique Mall, Markle Hardware and Goldenrod Products.
