The Huntington University Symphonic Band will present a free Christmas Pops concert on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

The band, under the direction of Dr. Robert Lynn, will perform arrangements of many familiar Christmas songs, both secular and sacred.

The band will also perform several classical pieces, including "The Nutcracker" by Tchai- kovsky.

A highlight of the program will be music from two Christmas films, "Polar Express" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
