Crossroad Connections New 2 U Toy Trade Day is set for Dec. 8

Crossroad Connections' second annual New 2 U Toy Trade Day is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8.

Those struggling to have a means to buy their children toys for Christmas can bring in their lightly used toys and books to trade for other lightly used items. All toys need to be in good working condition, lightly used and clean.

This year's event is being held in the Central Christian Church Fellowship Hall, located at 500 MacGahan St., Huntington, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donated toys are still needed for the event and may be taken to drop off locations El Shaddai, College Park Church, the Boys & Girls Club and the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA.

They may also be brought to Crossroad Connections by calling 355-7030 to obtain a drop off time.

Toys left over after the Trade Day will be given to Love INC. to help fill the needs of their Adopt-A-Family Christmas program.
