Rhodes to offer Mass for CT victims
Thursday, December 20, 2012 7:18 AM
Bishop Kevin C. Rhodes, leader of the Fort Wayne-South Bend Catholic Diocese, will offer a Mass on Friday, Dec. 28, for the victims of the Dec. 14 killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, and their families.
The Mass will begin at 12:05 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Fort Wayne. All are invited to attend.
The Catholic church observes Dec. 28 as the Feast of the Holy Innocents, commemorating the children who were killed by King Herod during the time of Jesus' birth.
