Stanley is new Board of Public Works and Safety appointee

Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters has appointed Nick Stanley to serve as a member of the city's Board of Public Works and Safety.

Stanley fills a vacancy left by the November resignation of Charles Herring, who moved outside the city limits.

Stanley is employed by Pathfinder Services as information technology manager and also works as an emergency dispatcher for the Huntington County Sheriff's Department. He provides information technology service to Johnson Junction, Inc., a local business operated by his family.

A certified first responder, Stanley volunteers with Huntington County Emergency Management. He is a technical director for the live weekly broadcast of the Catholic Mass by the Fort Wayne-South Bend Diocese and is a class coordinator for Financial Peace University, which provides financial management training for families.

Stanley holds associate degrees in computer information systems and computer information tech- nology from Ivy Tech Community College. He is a graduate of the Huntington County Youth Leadership Academy and holds numerous professional certifications in the information technology field.
