In its eighth year, the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day saw 723 runners and walkers participate in the 5K and 100 walkers participate in the one-mile fun walk.
The numbers represented an increase of 102 participants from the 2011 event, a new record.
McDonald's was the host sponsor of the race and donated all of the long sleeved T-shirts, cash prizes to award winners and provided breakfast and the facilities for race participants.
David Culp & Company LLP, Parkview Huntington Hospital, Marathon A&A Quick Stop, Mettler Agency Inc., First Federal Bank and iAB financial bank were all sponsors of the event and Trophy Center Plus donated the medals for all of the award recipients.
"The eighth year of our Turkey Trot was a huge success and we are looking forward to an even better 2013," said Mettler.
