The Salamonie School Student Council held a canned food drive for the Warren and Markle food pantries. The student council members organized a contest for all grades to participate in by bringing in canned foods to donate. The winning class (from left to right) Olivia Markley, Taylor Martz, Sydney Smekens, Kate Leichty, Haylin Loftis, Natalie Danals, Eliza Francka, Grace Asher, Peyton Miller, Jacob Miller, Logan Christian, Corbin Snow, Alivia Harmon, Kolson Herstad and Engelica Dickson collected 393 cans and will be treated with an ice cream party.
