Jerri Ainsworth, payroll specialist for the Huntington County Community School Corporation, has earned certification as a Business Office Specialist from the Indiana Association of School Business Officials (IASBO).

To earn the certification, she completed 18 hours of required coursework, 30 elective class hours and 10 seminar hours.

"Not only does Mrs. Ainsworth do an excellent job in a very demanding, detailed-oriented and time-sensitive position, she also works toward continual self improvement of her personal and professional skills," says Jon Bennett, assistant superintendent for business and classified staff for HCCSC.

"Her certification is noteworthy in and of itself. When you add high-level competency in a challenging position with someone who is very loyal to the school corporation and committed to self-improvement, you have an outstanding employee."

Ainsworth has worked for HCCSC since December of 2005. She is married to Dave Aisnworth and has three children, Nathan, Jacob and Emma, all currently attending college.
