Community groups to sponsor workforce training

United Way of Huntington County, the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce and the Youth Services Bureau will sponsor a multigenerational workforce training on Friday, Jan. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Peter's First Community Church located at 206 Etna Ave., Huntington.
The training is a workshop that provides participants with an understanding of the different generations in the workplace and what makes each important to a team. It will identify effective management strategies for the multigenerational workplaces and will help attendees discover key strategies to recruit, manage and retain the Millennial employees.
There is a cost for the training program.
Registration with payment can be sent to United Way, P.O. Box 347, Huntington, IN 46750.
Deadline for registration is Wednesday, Jan. 9.
