United States Congressman Marlin Stutzman was sworn in to the 113th Congress by House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) on Thursday, Jan. 3.
Stutzman, who will serve on the House Financial Services Committee, begins his second full term and his first term as the dean of Indiana's Republican delegation in the House.
"Our country is facing serious challenges, the greatest being the government's $16 trillion debt," said Stutzman.
"Washington needs Hoosier values now more than ever. Difficult work lies ahead and I look forward to working with my Hoosier colleagues to bring common sense solutions to our nation's capital. It is an honor and privilege to represent Indiana's third district."
The third congressional district includes Huntington County.
