Monday, January 28, 2013 7:59 AM
The next meeting of the Huntington County Safety Council is Feb. 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Habecker Dining Commons at Huntington University.
Bill Musick, director of Loss Control Services for Hylant, will be the featured speaker.
Musick will discuss how the overlap between worksite wellness initiatives, safety programs and workers compensation can translate into cost savings for the employer when appropriate health and well-being interventions are introduced to the employee population.
He will also talk about OSHA compliance strategies and Worker's Compensation trends.
Reservations for the lunch meeting are required by Feb. 8 at noon to Holly Sale, HCSC president, at 355-3203 or via e-mail at email@example.com.
The safety council is offering donation opportunities to support its scholarship program. For more information or to donate, contact Sale or call 800-533-2252, extension 53203.
