Perry to speak at Forester Lecture
Monday, January 28, 2013 8:12 AM
Morgan Perry, a self-proclaimed "media missionary," will be at Huntington University on Feb. 7 to discuss sex slavery in the United States.
The Forester Lecture will take place at 7 p.m. in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.
Perry is the executive producer of the documentary "Sex+Money: A National Search for Human Worth."
Perry, 25, has been a "media missionary" for nearly seven years with one of the largest Christian missions movements in the world, Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
She studied mass media in nearly 30 nations while pursuing her degree from the University of the Nations, which is affiliated with YWAM.
During the Forester Lecture, Perry will show some clips from the film and share how the body of Christ can come together to help deal with this global and national crisis.
The Forester Lecture Series is designed to bring interesting individuals and topics to the attention of students and the regional community.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
The Forester Lecture Series is coordinated by Dr. David Alexander, assistant professor of philosophy at Huntington University.
