Trinity United Methodist Church is collecting walnuts to sell in order to raise money for the Huntington Free Health Clinic, which is housed in the church.

Church members are asking the community to collect walnuts in baskets or bags and bring them to the church at the corner of Guilford and Market streets every Saturday af-ternoon between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., starting Oct. 3 and continuing through Nov. 7.

Collection sponsors are also willing to come pick the walnuts that have been collected and bagged.

The church is also in search of walnut trees. Locations of walnut trees should be called in to Don Mathias, project chairman, at 356-0296 or Jim Wilson at 356-1312.

The church has a goal of raising $10,000 this year.
