Local ABWA chapter offers two scholarships from Bufton Ed Fund

ABWA Forks of the Wabash Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is offering two scholarships from the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund.

One scholarship is worth $1,000 and the other scholarship is worth $2,000, and will fund two area students.

Each year, local chapters of ABWA provide Stephen Bufton Memorial Scholarships (SBMEF) to female students who will be attending accredited U.S. colleges, universities and community/vocational schools in the fall of 2013.

Applicants must be citizens of the United States, residents of Huntington County, entering or attending college full time in the fall of 2013, and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and in any field of study.

After contact, eligible women will be emailed a code to unlock the scholarship application.

Applications must be completed by March 31, 2013, at www.sbmef.org.

A minimum of three eligible applications are required in order for the scholarship to be awarded. The scholarship recip-ient(s) will be notified in May.
