Dr. Santosh Maharjan has joined the psychiatric services staff of the Huntington clinic of the Otis R. Bowen Center for Human Services, allowing the clinic to offer expanded hours.

Maharjan attended medical school in Nepal at Kathmandu University's College of Medical Sciences, graduating in 2004. After graduation, he worked in hospitals and community programs as a medical officer and joined Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Training Program at Boston in 2008.

Maharjan specializes in mood disorder, anxiety disorder and addiction. He is available Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for patients ages 13 and older.
He joins Dr. Hani Ahmad and Advanced Nurse Practitioner Lynne Wicker at the Bowen Center in Huntington.

Ahmad is currently seeing patients with psychiatric disorders including mood disorder, anxiety disorder, psychotic disorder and disorders first diagnosed in childhood and adolescence. Ahmad is available on Mondays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wicker is available on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to see patients 8 years and older.

Previously, the clinic was open only three days a week.
Current hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
