Homecoming court

Huntington North High School will select a Homecoming king and queen this week, with the royal representatives to be crowned during the football game on Friday, Sept. 18. Seniors vying for the titles of king and queen are (front row from left) Jesse Matheny, Paige Stephens, Meagan Piedmont, Lisa Daronatsy, Megan Bucher and Mitch Vezeau. Not pictured is king candidate Wes Carroll. The remainder of the court is made up of (back row from left) Peyton Pike, sophomore; Gracie Winkler and Alex Herber, juniors; and Karlie Crago and Thomas Trout, freshmen. Homecoming activities on Friday begin with a parade from the high school to the Huntington City-Township Public Library at 5 p.m., followed by the football game against Logansport.
