Victory Noll to host session on human trafficking

Victory Noll Center will host "Service Provision Through Their Eyes," an education and training session focusing on human trafficking, on Friday, March 8.

The session is designed for those in the criminal, civil and human services fields, as well as teachers, hotel and personnel managers and anyone who works with young people.

Participants will learn about the community impact of global human trafficking, understand the dynamics of sexual victimization, how to better provide services and how to address issues of compassion fatigue.

There is no cost for the event, but registration is required.

Anyone interested is encouraged to preregister by March 1.

Registration will also be open the morning of the event beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Victory Noll Center, located at 1900 W. Park Drive in Huntington.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
