Local girl wins title as Junior Miss Indianapolis
Friday, March 1, 2013 7:41 AM
Lizzy Dryer, of Huntington, was named Junior Miss Indianapolis on Jan. 6.
Dryer, an eighth-grader at Riverview Middle School, is the daughter of Jason and Lisa Harbuck. She is active in the school's music program, is a member of 4-H and is a 4-H Junior Leader.
Judging for the Junior Miss Indianapolis title was based on a personal interview, formal wear and her responses to questions presented to her during the program.
Over the next 12 months, Dryer will be an active volunteer in the community and attend various functions in Indianapolis.
She will return to Indianapolis next January to crown her successor.
