Senior parents invited to help with post-prom party

Parents of Huntington North High School seniors are invited to help plan the school's post-prom party.

A steering committee has been formed and will meet on Tuesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the HNHS commons. Senior parents willing to serve on individual post-prom committees are invited to attend the meeting, and should enter through Door 3.

The post-prom party will be held in the HNHS fieldhouse on Sunday, May 12, from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m., following the HNHS prom on Saturday, May 11. The prom is held in the school gym.

The theme for the post-prom party is "A Night at the Oscars After Party." The event will include games, prizes, food, a disc jockey and a photo booth for photo souvenirs.

The post-prom party is designed to provide seniors with a safe and supervised activity where they can celebrate their prom night. The post-prom is free and open to all HNHS seniors, whether or not they attend the prom.
Donations from senior parents and local businesses are being sought to fund the event.

Nick's Kitchen, in downtown Huntington, will host a fund-raiser on Friday evening, April 12. The restaurant will be open to the community, who can generate donations to the post-prom by eating dinner there.

Donations may be sent to Huntington North Post-Prom Committee, 9 Northway Drive, Huntington, IN 46750.
