HU lecture will feature actor as G.K. Chesterton
Monday, April 1, 2013 7:44 AM
Dr. John "Chuck" Chalberg, actor and professor of American history at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN, will portray G. K. Chesterson in the Forester Lecture on April 11.
The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts at Huntington University.
A graduate of Brainerd Junior College and Regis College, Chalberg holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in history from the University of Minnesota.
As English writer and philosopher G.K. Chesterson, Chalberg will offer the author's unique views on everything from the virtues of things small, whether they are families or pubs, to the evils of things large, whether they are imperialist schemes or socialist states.
The Forester Lecture Series is free and open to the public.
The Forester Lecture Series is coordinated by Dr. David Alexander, assistant professor of philosophy at Huntington University.
